Congratulations to Berta Rojas whose latest album Historia Del Tango has been nominated for a Latin Grammy Award in the "Best Tango Album" category. Ms. Rojas is scheduled to appear at Festival 2016 Friday, April 15 at 8 p.m.
Festival 2016 Guitar Orchestra
Returning to the Festival in 2016 for its second year was the LIGF Guitar Orchestra for high school students and others, conducted by Alan Hirsh.
The Guitar Orchestra under the direction of Mr. Hirsh rehearsed Saturday, April 16 at 4:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 17 at 10:30 a.m. and performed at Tilles Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, April 17 at 2:00 p.m.
