In 2018 the LIGF Guitar Orchestra for high school students and others returned to the Festival for its fourth year, conducted by Alan Hirsh.
The Orchestra met for two rehearsals then performed at Tilles Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, April 15.Guitar Orchestra repertoire for Festival 2018 included Into thin air (Alan Hirsh) and Concerto Grosso Op.3, No.8 (Antonio Vivaldi).
In 2019, the Guitar Orchestra is scheduled to rehearse Saturday, April 13 at 4:30 pm and Sunday, April 14 at 10:30 am. The orchestra will perform Sunday, April 14 at 2 pm at the LIU Post Interfaith Center/Chapel.
