Participants are encouraged to try the latest in clarinet equipment. Equipment trials and purchases will be held in the lobby and in specified private rooms where participants can try musical instruments, mouthpieces etc. in a quieter space.
• 9-9:45 amElementary/Intermediate Clarinet Choir rehearsal
• 9:45-10:30 amIntermediate/Advanced Clarinet Choir rehearsal
• 10:30-11 am Festival Clarinet Choir (all groups combined) and Full Rehearsal
The unnatural act of holding one's instrument for hours on end creates tension patterns that lead to injury and pain. Anyone who must stabilize raised arms is especially prone to suffer neck pain and limited range of motion in the shoulders. We will explore our structural sticky spots through postural awareness and ferret out overuse and underuse patterns with stretching and strengthening exercises that bring whole-body balance and improve performance and health.
**Bring a yoga mat if you have one**
Participants are welcome to bring their own lunches or purchase lunch on campus.

Participants performing in the evening clarinet choir concert should change their clothes into concert black** attire at this time.
**Concert Black: Black slacks and black dress shirt or calf length black dress/skirt and black dress shoes with black socks.
All participants are welcome to be a part of the large group photo.
Participants performing in the evening clarinet choir recital should be dressed in concert attire.
